Did the Bush administration deceive the American public?
The Center for Public Integrity and the Fund for Independence in Journalism released an expansive database documenting every falsehood publicly uttered by President Bush and his top seven officials in a project called "Iraq-The War Card: Orchestrated Deception on the Path to War".
According to the study, the administration orchestrated 935 false statements saying Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and links to al Qaeda.
