Kennedys endorse Obama at AU
Two generations of the Kennedy family endorsed presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama at American University in Washington, D.C., today.
The American Observer was there, interviewing enthusiastic students who waited outside in the cold to see the Democratic contender. Thousands of people wrapped around several blocks in an attempt to get into the Bender Arena.
Once inside, they watched as JFK’s daughter Caroline Kennedy, Senator Edward Kennedy and his son, Congressman Patrick Kennedy threw their support behind Obama.
In this special edition of the American Observer, check out video highlights of the event, two slideshows and audio. Observer reporter Federica Narancio has the story from inside the arena.
