A new report on the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the District of Columbia shows that the District has the worst infection rates in the country. Since 2001, the number of reported cases of people living with AIDS increased by 43 percent.
During a candlelight vigil sponsored by the Whitman-Walker Clinic, District residents called for an increased raise in awareness.
