Tourists flocked to Washington over the weekend for the 95th National Cherry Blossom Festival, a celebration of Tokyo's gift of 3,000 cherry trees to the people of Washington in 1912.
So far, the festival, which began on March 31 and will continue through April 15, has included a kite festival and a marathon. The festival will feature a fireworks display on Saturday on the Southwest Waterfront and a parade on April 14. » Read more
