Be More Than a Tourist
You’ve seen the memorials. You’ve visited the museums more than once. And you’re quite familiar with names like Dupont,
RSVP today for a walking tour with the National Park Service and learn some interesting facts about our nation’s capital.
The two-hour walking tour starts at 7 p.m. on Friday Nov. 7. You have to call ahead to reserve a spot on the tour, but it’s free for whoever wants to come. Once that’s all settled, meet at the Washington Monument and prepare for a learning experience.

Document Your Life
Have photos floating around your apartment? Haven’t moved photos off your digital camera in months? Take those to the Corcoran Gallery of Art on Saturday Nov. 10, for a Do-It-Yourself Weekend.
The museum will provide helpful hints to create a photo journal to document some of life’s more memorable moments. The event is free – just show up to the Corcoran between noon and 4 p.m.
