D.C.’s brief winter still yields ice problems

The snow may be receding, but a spate of recent sledding and snowboarding injuries have swamped local emergency rooms. Sledding is a time-honored winter pastime, but it can be dangerous — even lethal. In the past week, two Maryland residents died and several others were taken to the emergency room after sledding into trees. Doctors are warning sled, ski and snowboard enthusiasts to be careful on the slopes. American Observer radio correspondent Steve Dorsey has the story. The audio file is 30 seconds long.
